Grand Canyon Skywalk Secures Spectacular Tourist Attraction with D-Link IP Surveillance Solution on 4/20/2009

The Grand Canyon Skywalk needed a way to monitor visitors and retail operations at their Grand Canyon glass walkway. The challenge: any surveillance monitoring would have to be done via a remote site at their operations center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The needs of the Grand Canyon Skywalk required cost-effective maximum monitoring efficiency. D-Link was able to provide just the solution they were looking for. After checking out some cameras from competitors, the Skywalk IT team decided D-Link IP cameras with Power over Ethernet (PoE) would best meet their needs. With PoE, cameras can be placed anywhere as long as there is access to Ethernet wiring. They also found the image quality of the PoE cameras, and digital storage of the video, to be excellent.
