Until three years ago, the Fulcrum Group, which offers VoIP IP-PBX solutions for small businesses, had been using networking equipment from D-Link competitors. But as cost concerns continued to grow, they knew they had to find an alternative.

After looking at a number of competitive networking switch vendors, Fulcrum Group Vice President David Johnson and his team decided on D-Link, finding the combination of product quality and cost-effectiveness particularly attractive. Johnson and his team purchased several networking products, including the DGS-3100-48P Managed 48-Port Gigabit Stackable PoE Layer 2 Switch and the DWS-3227P 24-Port Gigabit Unified Wireless Switches with PoE (the latter of which has since been retired and replaced with the DWS-3024 model).
