Hi guys! Welcome to another episode of The Buzz. I'm Esther Navaja

And I'm Roger Nevarez and we're here to keep you updated on everything D-Link. So Esther, have you heard?

Heard what?

That 4G is on the rise. According to recent research, WiMAX networks has counted more than 3 million viewers world wide which includes a 74% growth rate for 4G technology.

Wow, that's a really huge growth rate. Did you know that In Eastern Europe and Asia, D-Link remains on the crest of emerging technologies with its WiMAX routers, used by service providers as a “last mile” solution to economically deliver broadband to homes where hard wiring is expensive due to geographical challenges.

No. I did not know that. I did not know that.

Do you know what I think could have caused the rise for WiMAX?

No, I don't know Esther.

It could be the recent transformation in healthcare. As data speed is increasing we are finding that more doctors are using telehealth devices. A recent study has suggested that 15 million wireless telehealth sensors will be used by 2012.

What is telehealth?

telehealth is a telecommunication technology that is used to deliver health information and services. It's primary use is to monitor the conditions and status of patients with chronic conditions so their providers can detect early warning signs before they become a problem.

Wow that's great! AT&T has also said that they plan to start transitioning to 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) mobile data technologies in the next few years. They're even planning on upgrading their 3G network to HSPA (High Speed Packet Access) 7.2 technology.

That's awesome! Well, that's going to do it for this episode of the Buzz. He's Roger Nevarez.

And she's Esther Navaja make sure and catch us next week.
