D-Link Buzz Episode 68 on 10/1/2009
by Esther Navaja
Hi guys! Welcome to another episode of the Buzz. I'm Esther Navaja.

And I'm Roger Nevarez and we're here to keep you updated on everything D-Link.

So Rog, remember a couple of weeks ago we talked about WiMAX?

Sure, WiMAX...a metro-area networking standard intended as a broadband access alternative, right? Indonesia is launching its first WiMAX wireless service in 2010.

Right, so, in the last 5 years the technology has become more flexible. It's actually been reported that there has been a shift in the technology's focus. They are now aiming towards a cellular-like mobile architecture to serve a broader market due to the developments in the IEEE 802.16 standard.

That's great news for the 18% of UK adults who have recently said in a survey that they'd be interested in a mobile VoIP service if provided by their mobile phone operator.

That's also great news for D-Link.

Do you mean D-Link's VoIP solutions?

Sure do. So, as is well known, D-Link has a wide array of VoIP solutions to offer. Take for example our DVX-2000MS-10 VoiceCenterâ„¢ IP Phone System. This Phone System includes either 5 or 10 phones, a gateway, and a base unit for use with Microsoft? Response Pointâ„¢ and its easy to install, manage and maintain.

Wow, that sounds like a perfect kit for small businesses or for folks who are starting up. There are plenty of D-Link products supporting such ventures.

So you can't go wrong. That's gonna do it for this episode of the Buzz, guys. I'm Esther Navaja.

And I'm Roger Nevarez. And make sure and catch us next week.

See this episode here.
